I really love making them!

This time I made 5 of them 4 are out in the post and one that I kept for me.

Mine turned out different, because I made it after I finished all the others, I though we had to make 4 and send three, then I read my email again and saw that I didn`t have one for me! LOL so I made one for me and I used different colour's . Haven't taken a photo of it yet, but I will do tomorrow and add it to this post.

So here are my four tags:

I used, prima flowers, glimmer mists, cosmetic mists, heat and stick embossing powder, Tim Holts masks, and distress inks.

Had lots of fun with it!

By The Cute And Girly May Makes

It is my turn to host and choose this month theme, and as it is my princess` birthday this month, I decided it will be `Celebrations`!
We are working hard to get the house and garden ready for summer (and we are planning on selling it as well LOL), so that we can have a nice BBQ on her B-Day:-)

Here is what I made , Katie if you don't want to spoil your surprise, you should stop reading...just about...NOW! lol

Here is the mini I made Katie, it is the first time that I made a proper mini with lots of techniques and it`s full LOL its a dress form mini, inspired by the one `Maya Road` has, only I drew and cut this one myself :-) You can click on it to get a better view, I didn`t want to flood the post with 12 photos of the pages LOL so I made a collage :-)

The second project is another Mini, this time making it way to Israel so Yael, you should stop reading this post now if you don`t want to spoil your surprise as well :-)

It is a mini in a box, and I made the DP paper myself (Mylee helped with the pink paint though) with watercolour papers, acrylic paint, my French script background stamp and an embossing powder . I used Julie Balzer Tutorial, which you can find on the `Prima` Website, I also won a `Prima` goodies bag on the show LOL It`s on every other Monday and Its great fun! I changed the mini, so mine looks a bit different, and I did`nt use the `Prima` papers, but I did use some Prima flowers, stamps and a butterfly. The other flower is hand made (Tim Holts one)

Goodbye Stamping Up...

I was thinking about it, when SU changed their policy, I thought it was a bit restricting and not fair. I did enjoy using SU products, but also enjoyed using other products like; Tim Holts and Ranger, Prima flowers, Maya Road, SWIRLYDOOS etc...I can write all this names on my blog now without worrying about getting told off LOL

When my dear MIL passed away, I had a few months where selling or buying was the last thing on my mind. SU! has a minimum you must spend every quarter, and the last one was in march.
When I saw that I wasn't able to make it, I contacted demonstrator support, and asked if it was possible to have an extension due to the circumstances.

It turns out that, this would be possible only if you were very ill, or if you had an accident.
I am happy to say that, I am well, and did not have an accident...
So it meant that if I didn't make the minimum, they will make the next one even harder to achieve because, they made it higher, impossible for me to make it at all; I was penalised because I couldn't make it in the first place.

Now saying all that, I have to say the my up liner was amazing! she phoned me as soon as she knew about it and was really nice and tried to help me. She even offered to pass me some sale if she had any. I think March is a difficult month for everyone because everyone was waiting for the mini to come out.

I hope all of the SU! demos in the UK are so lucky to have Jenny as their up liner. She is wonderful, and even though I wont be a demo anymore, I will probably be one of her best customers in the future.
So thank you Jenny, and thank you Kate which was my previous up liner who left when the policy changed.

Thank you SU! I did enjoy being a demo but I know that I wont be doing it again now, as I will have to buy the starter pack again, and as you know I already have it ;-)

BTCAG First DT Submission `Fairy Tales`

I love Fairy tales, Right now I am trying to get Mylee all of the old favorite ones both in English and Hebrew, so that she will know them in both languages.
Here is the first project, which I named `Cinderella Will Be Attending My April`s Make On Time` ;-)

It is a postcard I had made for an Art swap in Gingersnap Creations. The Theme was Party time And I thought the the Two Themes work well together:-)

And here is my second project,I went to see Alice In Wonderland in 3d with my DH on Saturday, LOVED every minute of it! Johnny Depp is just brilliant in everything he does, the hatter is definitely my favorite! LOL

International Tag Swap For February

I wrote this post ages ago, but my MIL fell ill and sadly had passed away. I will miss her very much and so will Mylee. It`s very different to go through the grieving proseshere then it is from when I had lost my mother. In Judaism we have the SHIVA which allows you to grieve and to be supported by your family and friend for seven days after the funeral, and it is always a burial.
Here we have the funeral which is mostly a cremation and then it`s a couple of days off and you are back to anything you were doing before the tragedy.

I feel for my DH, he had lost both of his parents withing 7 months. It feels strange now, we are completely on our own. we used to visit his dear mum almost every day.
Sorry for not updating the blog, I do have some more art work to upload, one is a mini that did not reach its destination yet and another tag swap.
I will be on track starting Monday guys.

No challenges were entered this time, I might change my mind and add them on later, but for the time being here are the tags I had made for the Feb tag swap on "My Huckleberry Fin" I really enjoyed making all this tags, and also really worried that I am out of my league with all my very talented swap partners.
So after stressing I was finally happy with the result, and sent it off, a little late. Sorry girls...x
